A Quick Note from Ruth
August has arrived with a definite rise in temperature, making it the perfect time to visit area waterways. Try flyfishing on the White River or canoeing the peaceful Buffalo. Bull Shoals and Norfork Lakes are great for boating and water sports. The waterparks in Branson are a big hit with the kids. There's always lots to see and do in the Ozarks! Don't forget the sunscreen and camera.
P.S. Be making plans to attend the 2008 Turkey Trot Festival in downtown Yellville October 10th and 11th. You'll have a blast!
